CEUs

17 hours by Texas Board of Social Workers

Note to LPCs: The Texas LPC Board acknowledges Texas Board of SW CEU hours

Please note that you must participate in the Overview Webinar and both full days of class for CEU credit. No partial hours will be given.

Prerequisites

• Prior to attending class, you must participate in a 2.5-hour Overview Webinar conducted by the class trainer (more information below).

• Please also complete the free online TF-CBT training available at http://tfcbt.musc.edu. Their website provides information about CEUs for completing the online course.

Overview Webinar - The information presented in this interactive online Overview is part of the overall class curriculum and covers the initial foundation for trauma-informed work. Covering this information (typically presented the morning of Day 1) prior to the class will allow more time for you to explore resources and do more of the experiential work in the classroom without being too rushed or adding an additional day to the training. This will bring the full CEU credit to 17 hours which will be awarded at the end of Day 2. No partial CEUs will be given, so if you register for the class, please plan on participating in the Overview Webinar and both full days of class. The link to register for one of two scheduled Overviews will be sent in the class registration confirmation email.

Important: If you do not participate in one of these Overview sessions, you may not attend the class and we will have to cancel your registration.
